Terms of use

GENERAL

These terms of use (hereinafter “Terms”) constitute the rules and conditions for the use of the website www.eventsingreece.gr (hereinafter “the Website”) and to all its subdomains, APIs, emails and widgets. Users accessing the Website (hereinafter “users”) refers to the individual, company, business organization, or other legal entity using the Website. Users unconditionally accept said terms of use. If users do not wish to be bound by the Terms, should not access or use the Website.

Any information, text, links, graphics, photos, audio, videos, data, code or other materials or arrangements of materials that you can view on, access or otherwise interact with through the Website shall be referred to as “Content”.

Aeikinito, which is the administrator of the Website (hereinafter the "Administrator") may at any time change or otherwise modify these Terms and the users understand and agrees that their continued access or use of the Website after such change signifies their acceptance of the updated or modified Terms. Continued use of the Website (or any part of it) by the users, following such change shall be deemed to be their acceptance of such change. It is their responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Terms have been changed. If they do not agree to any change to the Terms then they must immediately stop using the Website.

USE OF THE WEBSITE

The Website aggregates information about events, museums and archaeological sites schedules, notification about strikes and other information, sent or published directly from the event organizers or from the organizations operating the museums or archaeological sites. By this the Website does not endorse, agree, promote, advertise or express it’s point of view through this content. The Administrator puts reasonable efforts to verify the accuracy of any information however he is not in a position to ensure the accuracy of information that can often change, such as for instance opening times and it is strongly recommend that prior to relying on information made available through the Website, such information, should be confirmed with the event organizers, organizations, venues, or service providers.

When using the Website, users may encounter links to third party sites such as ticketing providers. Such third parties sites may charge a fee for use of certain content or services provided on or by way of their websites. Therefore, users should make whatever investigation they feel is necessary or appropriate before proceeding with any transaction with any third party to determine whether a charge will be incurred. Any interactions with third party sites and apps are at their own risk. Users acknowledge and agree that the Website is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content or service offered.

The Website is subject to change from time to time and the users will not be eligible for any compensation because they cannot use any part of the Website because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website for any reason. Also, while the Administrator endeavors to ensure that the Website is normally available 24 hours a day, he shall not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice.

The Administrator makes no warranty that the Website or products or services offered on the Website will meet users requirements, that defects will be corrected, or that the Website or the server which makes it available or services offered on the Website are free of viruses or bugs or are fully functional, accurate, or reliable. While certain precautions have been taken to detect computer viruses and ensure security, the Administrator cannot guarantee that the Website is virus-free and secure. The Administrator shall not be liable for any loss or damage which occurs as a result of any virus or breach of security. He may investigate any reported violation of these Terms (and/or our Website Purchase Terms and Conditions, Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy) or complaints relating to the Website and take any action that he deems appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access to the Website and/or removing any materials from the Website).

In any case, the users acknowledges and accepts that they are solely responsible for any such loss or damage suffered by the Website and third parties, regardless of the specific cause, the form and the name, as a consequence, directly or indirectly, of any breach of the present terms.

The Administrator reserves the right to remove any information or material on the Website without warning, and without prejudice to any other accrued rights, and/or make available such information or material when required to do so by law or when requested to do so by regulatory bodies or law enforcement organizations.

The Administrator may also impose limits or otherwise restrict user access to all or parts of the Services without notice or liability for technical or security reasons, to prevent against unauthorized access, loss of, or destruction of data or where the Administrator in his sole discretion that a user is in breach of any provision of this Agreement or of any law or regulation and where the Administrator decide to discontinue providing any aspect of the Website.

The user is prohibited to destroy, deactivate, overload or cause damage to the Website, to use unauthorized means aiming at altering the content of the Website, or to intervene in its function in any manner.

It is prohibited to use the Services or Content for any commercial purpose.

It is prohibited to access, monitor, the Website, including but not limited to, using any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means or any manual process for any purpose without our express written permission.

It is prohibited to violate the restrictions in any robot exclusion headers on the Services or bypass or circumvent other measures employed to prevent or limit access to the Services.

It is prohibited to take any action that imposes, or may impose, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

It is prohibited to deep-link to any portion of the Services for any purpose without Administrator’s express written permission.

It is prohibited to "frame", "mirror" or otherwise incorporate any part of the Website into any other websites or service without Administrator’s prior written authorization.

It is prohibited to attempt to modify, translate, adapt, edit, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software programs used by.

It is prohibited to circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Services or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any Content.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Administrator shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to, damages for loss of use, data or profits, arising out of the use or performance of the Website, the provision of or failure to provide services, or for any information obtained through the Website, or otherwise arising out of the use of the Website, whether based on contract, tort, or otherwise, without limitation.

If defective digital content that the Website has supplied damages a device or digital content belonging to the users and this is caused by The Website failure to use reasonable care and skill the Administrator will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. However, the Administrator will not be liable for damage that the users could have avoided by following the Administrator’s advice to apply an update or for damage that was caused by the users failing to correctly follow installation instructions or to have in place the minimum system requirements advised by the Administrator.

The Administrator is not liable toward the users or other third parties deriving rights from the users for any damage, whether to property or not, direct or consequential or indirect, or any other form, regardless of the specific name, form and cause thereof, for any legal or civil or penal claims, or for any damage caused by visitors to the Website or third parties, due to causes relating to the operation or non-operation and/or the use of the Website and/or any unauthorized interventions by third parties to information provided via the Website.

INDEMNITY

If the Administrator is found liable for any loss or damage that arises out of or is in any way connected with users use of the Services, then the Administrator’s liability will in no event exceed, in the aggregate, the greater of fifty euros (€50).

If the law of the country where users live does not allow any particular limitation or exclusion of liability provided for in this clause, that limitation will not apply. The liability disclaimer will otherwise apply to the maximum extent allowed by users local law.

PERSONAL DATA

The Administrator takes all reasonable measures to ensure Personal Data Protection subject to Greek legislation, binding provisions or contracts, which defend the principle of fair handling and sufficient protection of Personal Data.

The Administrator warrants that Personal Data contained in the Website shall not be used inappropriately, shall not be sold or conceded to third parties in any way.

The users unconditionally accept and grant permission so that the Administrator and its authorized partners have the right to collect, to process in any manner and to keep a file with personal data of users, even sensitive data, within the scope of operation of the specific Website. Further specialization in relation to the Personal Data of the users is made in the Privacy Policy of the Website.

The users of the Website reserve the right to delete their personal data, to correct and/or update their personal data and/or to deactivate their registration and/or object to the further processing of their data, at any time, through the relevant service of the Website.

VARIOUS REGULATIONS

A failure or delay by the Administrator in enforcing compliance with these Terms shall not be a waiver of that or any other provision of these Terms.

In the event of invalidity of any provision of these Terms of Use, the user accepts unconditionally that said term will be replaced with another term of equivalent effect by the Administrator, interpreting thus the true will of the parties. In any case the remaining Terms of Use hereof shall not be affected by the invalidity of any term hereof and shall remain valid and in force.

CONSEQUENCES OF THE BREACH OF THE TERMS OF USE

In case of the breach by the user of any term hereof, in addition to any other consequences provided herein or in any other source of law, the Administrator has the right at its sole discretion, to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the ability to access its website.

JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms of Use shall be governed exclusively by Hellenic Law. The courts of Athens shall have sole jurisdiction for the resolution of any dispute which may arise relevant to these Terms of Use.
